We are now recruiting a Medical Advisor, Field Based to join the Bayer Finland Medical Affairs team and be part of an exciting journey where the needs of our customers and our vision "We are bold teams advancing Nordic Healthcare" is in the center of everything we do. This is a permanent field-based position with a strong focus on customer interaction and collaboration. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a scientific expert between Bayer and the medical community through the dissemination and education of scientific data and material.
- Be an active and integral part in the local x-functional enterprise. Responsible and accountable for reviewing, interpreting, and disseminating data and relevant field insights to optimize and manage content according to the local brand plan and strategy.
- Be the internal and external scientific expert for the relevant therapeutic area(s) and the point-of-contact for relevant Thought Leaders
- Establish long-term scientific and strategic relationships with key stakeholders, major medical associations, and academic centres of excellence.
- Attend congresses and conventions with HCPs, establish new contacts and gather competitive intelligence.
- Arrange scientific meetings as well as present to groups of HCPs and other customers.
- Support in achieving best possible conditions when it comes to guidelines, listings, and tenders.
- Self-develop with latest clinical data, brand strategy and tactics, competitive landscape, and standard tools.
- Contribute to design, updates and implementation of tailored action plans and value solutions for key customers/accounts in close collaboration with other involved functions.
- Provide input and communicate the customer feedback to the relevant functions for promotional campaigns and insights.
WHO YOU ARE
- University degree in the life-science field (MD, M.Sc.), PhD is an advantage.
- >2 years’ experience in Life Science/Pharma industry with good knowledge about Finnish healthcare system and local regulations.
- Capable of comprehending substantial amounts of scientific content which you can communicate concisely and have excellent presentation skills.
- Team player, self-driven, independent, resourceful, and trustworthy with willingness to develop within and beyond position.
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
- Eager to seek and identify areas of mutual interest for collaboration with external stakeholders.
- Proven people skills, ability to establish solid relations both internally and externally.
- Strong focus on outcomes, accountability, and delivery.
- Fluent Finnish and English, written and verbal.
- Advantage for candidates having experience in Women’s Health and/or Cardiovascular fields.
